Derrick Brumfield, PT

Derrick Brumfield is our therapy manager and is a born and raised West Virginian. He graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2004, with a Masters of Physical Therapy and Bachelors of Science. Prior to joining the team at Dignity, his experiences include acute rehabilitation, wound care, and orthopedics. Derrick’s philosophy is to target not only the symptoms of a patient’s aliment, but to reach the problems at their source. To do so, Derrick uses evidence based treatments, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and dry needling. Derrick believes patient education is the key to successful treatment and leads to superior outcomes.
Outside of work, Derrick enjoys spending time with family and friends, music, travel, reading, and exploring all his community has to offer. Derrick is married, to his lovely wife Meredith, and they have two children. |
