David Swims grew up in Chapmanville, WV. He graduated high school from Chapmanville and worked for a laser printer repair company where he met his wife and got married in 1998. Seven years later they had a beautiful baby girl.
David spent several year working as a coal miner and became a drill and blast foreman. In 2009 David's wife's grand father passed away in a nursing home. This was when David met an Occupational Therapist. After talking with the therapist David decided to go back to school to become an Occupational Therapist. He graduated from Mountain State University with an associate degree in OTA. From there David came to work for Dignity Hospice & Home Health. He enjoys working with patients who have had a stroke or surgeries and watching them improve. |
